Small Dog Potty Training
POTTY TRAINING!!!?? I just got a new small dog?
(a one yr old) who is used to going potty outside. I live in a apartment, so I need him to be a indoor dog only. How should I pee pad train him when he’s used to going outside?
Dogs need to get outside even if you live in an apartment. It’s not fair to try to keep them like an indoor cat. You need to get your dog outside first thing in the morning, before you leave for work, when you get home and again at bedtime. And you need to bring a poop bag to pick up after him.
If you are unable to do this you should seriously think about having a dog. Sorry, I don’t mean to be offensive, but dogs need attention and I worry that if you don’t even want to take your dog out, maybe now is not the time for you to have one.
